How to remove blood stains from clothes?

How do you remove blood stains from clothes?

This article hopefully will help with any blood stains you get on any articles of clothing. The most important thing to consider is the sooner the better, the faster you can get that item soaking in cold water the better.

Lemon Juice Method:

After soaking the item in cold water, put two cups of lemon juice and a 1/2 cup of salt in a zip lock bag mix thoroughly. Put the clothing into the bag and massage the mixture for about 15 min. Remove the clothing and remove excess moister. Lay clothing out flat and let it dry preferably in the nice warm sun light. Wash in cold water, if the stain is still there repeat the above steps.

Meat tenderizer:

Make sure you use unseasoned tenderizer, seasoned tenderizer will leave a stain of its own. Use this cautiously on silk and wool fabrics though since their fibers are made of proteins.

Lay the article of clothing out flat.  Mix 1 tablespoon of unseasoned meat tenderizer with 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl to form a paste. Rub the paste on the stain gently and let it sit for an hour or two. Wash in cold water if the stain still is not gone do not dry, repeat the steps above.

Last ditch effort:

You will need one table spoon of butter, two sticks of Spearmint gum, 1/2 table spoon of sea salt, 1 Ding Dong, and a 1/2 cup of pop rocks. Mix the items into a fine paste and rub into the blood stain. Next make sure you have a clean toilet bowl of (Clean) cold water. Put the item into the cold water and push the lever, if the stain is still there push the lever again. (Caution you may need a plunger at this point!)

P.S Hope the first two pointers help before you need to use the third method!
