Last Saturday I was out looking at an Amana washer the customer said that it would not fill with water. The first thing I checked was to make sure there was water going to the machine, and if so are the hose screens plugged. Every thing checked out with the incoming water supply.
After removing the rear cover I removed the electrical plug to the cold water valve to checking for proper Ohm readings. I found that there was no resistance on the valve and the valve test open with no continuity. (Defective water valve)
