Maytag Model MAH6500AWW. Washer would fill with water go through a wash cycle then blow house breaker. Previous service company had replaced main control board, the pressure switch and problem still continued to happen. When we received the call and had been given the history of repairs I was ready to get this thing fixed once and for all.

After removing the front panel, top and control panel cover I started the machine and carefully watched each part of the wash cycle. The machine filled with hot and cold water, machine would agitate and spin in the first wash cycle. When the washer started the rinse cycle I watched the dispenser wax motors and quickly noticed it was getting very hot but nothing was happening, it was at that very point the house breaker tripped. When the dispenser would fill in bleach cycles the wax motors would trip the beaker. Unfortunately this model only sells the complete dispenser assembly not just the motors. I purchased the dispenser at wholesale and passed that saving on to the customer, as for she had already spent money on parts not needed to correct the problem. After the dispenser was replaced the washer worked like new.
